A mother-of-two put a request for a nanny on a babysitting app and was surprised to receive a sea of applications within minutes. The job entails spending two weeks in the Bahamas during Christmas with five-star accommodation and of course babysitting the family's two toddlers.
The reasons are quite irresistible to witness the surge in applicants, isn't it?
According to a Daily Mail report, the job posted on Bubble app by banking executive Jenna S from West London on Monday, specifies to help out with the morning and bedtime routines of her two girls aged 4 and 2, as the regular nanny cannot make it.
Although the selected nanny will have to work seven days of the week, it promises to give free time during the day, and free evenings from 8:30 pm.
The advert reads:

'We're looking for someone fun and energetic to come away with us on our Christmas holiday to the Bahamas this year to help look after our gorgeous 2 girls. We offer a generous pay package alongside accommodation and flights'.
The job got dozens of nannies to apply, causing a huge spike to the service on Monday. Speaking about the response to the advert, Bubble co-founder and father-of-three Ari Last said, "We're used to seeing parents get quick responses to their ads but this one was off the charts. I was considering applying myself before my wife stopped me!"
The only downside of the job is that the successful nanny will have to spend Christmas away from family. But a luxury trip to the Bahamas doesn't seem to bother applicants. The job is still open and in the interviewing stages, the report added.
