Company to pay you Dh4,700 to watch 13 movies

Good news horror movie buffs, watching sinister flicks can earn one lucky person $1,300 (Dh4,700 approx). One company is running a contest to select one brave heart to watch 13 movies based on classic Stephen King works before Halloween, MSN reports.
USDish, which announced the contest, stated that the lucky viewer will get a survival kit complete with a blanket, flashlight, candy, popcorn, and Stephen King gear. They will also get a Fitbit to track their pulse while watching the movies. The deadline to enter the contest is October 15 and those interested will need to submit a 200-word entry narrating how they celebrate Halloween and justify why they are fit for the task.
Apart from watching horror flicks, the viewer will also have to complete guided worksheets about their experience, including documenting their feelings before and after the movies, naming favourites, and keeping a sleep log. They will also be encouraged to promote the experience on social media.
The selected viewer will also receive a movie theater gift card to add a 14th title to the list: either It: Chapter 2, which had the second-highest horror movie opening earlier in September, or Doctor Sleep, the latest Stephen King movie adaptation.
The movie lineup includes Carrie (the original or the 2013 remake), Children of the Corn, Christine, Creepshow, Cujo, Dreamcatcher, It (the original or the 2017 remake), The Mist, Pet Sematary (original or 2019 remake), Salem's Lot, The Shining, Thinner and Misery.
