A 23-year-old baggage handler has been suspended from his job after he fell asleep in the cargo hold of a plane, according to a report in NDTV.
The man confessed that he had consumed alcohol before he fell asleep.
USA Today, as quoted in NDTV, also reported that the man happened to take a nap inside the aircraft while he was at work at the ramp in the airport located in Kansas City.
The aircraft took a flight to Chicago with him asleep in the cargo hold of the plane. He was discovered after two hours when the plane landed at the O'Hare International Airport in Chicago.
The 23-year-old was later interrogated by the US Attorney's Office, the FBI and the Chicago Police Department. He reportedly informed the police officers of the intoxicated state in which fell asleep in the plane's cargo hold and landed in another city later on.
