A 7-year-old boy wrote a letter to Santa asking for a 'very good dad' for Christmas, and it touched a million hearts online.
The domestic violence shelter where he is staying with his mother was inundated with plenty of Christmas presents, according to reports Hindustan Times.
The SafeHaven shelter in Tarrant County, Texas, shared the heartwarming letter on Facebook which caught attention of netizens who sought to reach out to the boy named Blake.

The shelter home posted a picture of the letter and wrote a caption: 'Blake is a 7-year-old boy in one of our shelters, and his mom found this letter to Santa in his backpack a few weeks ago'.
In the letter, the boy told Santa that he had to leave his house because "dad was mad" and that he "always scared" them. He added that so one day his mom took them to a safe place where they "don't have to be scared" anymore.
"Can you bring some chapter books, a dictionary, and a compass and a watch? I also want a very very very good dad. Can you dao that too?" Blake wrote.
Since being shared, several people came forward to drop the gifts the boy asked for. While some netizens also donated gifts for the other children staying in the shelter.
"This one, we shared with some of our supporters before posting it on social media. It highlights a lot of the feelings a lot of our clients feel - not just children," Emily Hancock, vice president of development at SafeHaven of Tarrant County, told NBC News.
