Ugandan customs officers suspected misdeed when they saw a woman carrying a 'child' on her back and intercepted her. They were stunned when they discovered the 'child' turned out to be a set of pajamas filled the banned cosmetics.
According to reports in UPI, the woman was trying to smuggle the banned cosmetics from Democratic Republic of the Congo into Uganda. The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) tweeted photos of the woman carrying what appears to be a child on her back.
The tweet said the baby turned out to be a set of pajamas filled with banned cosmetics which the woman attempted to smuggle into Uganda on a bus. URA spokesman, Ian Rumanyika, said the cosmetics are banned in Uganda as they contain hydroquinone and mercury.
