Youth foundation Funn launches Ramadan photography competition
Participants are encouraged to submit photos that include Ramadan-inspired ideas and rituals such as family gatherings at Iftar and other Holy Month moments.
In celebration of Ramadan, Funn, the Sharjah-based foundation dedicated to promoting media arts for children and youth in the UAE, has launched a photography competition to present celebrations of the Holy Month.
Participants are encouraged to submit photos that include Ramadan-inspired ideas and rituals such as family gatherings at Iftar and other Holy Month moments. Entry is open to all residents in the UAE from all nationalities and age groups. A judging panel from the Funn foundation will evaluate the photos based on criteria including creativity and the ability to reflect the values and spirit of Ramadan, in addition to the number of “likes” and retweets each entry boasts.
Winners will be announced during the last week of Ramadan with prizes on offer as well.
