Work teams across all customs centres continued to process cargo clearance and inspections
Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is currently in Dubai for a visit and posted a video to his Instagram account thanking officials and authorities at Dubai airport for their assistance when he landed in the city recently.
He says in the video, “So I’m here in sunny and very pleasant Dubai, just landed, came here for some work. Something amazing happened today, I thought I’ll share it with you guys. When I entered Dubai I realized I hadn’t carried a physical copy of my visa, and I didn’t have it on my phone also digitally so there was a mess-up. I just want to say thank you, the people in Dubai are very sweet, the immigration control, the passport officer, came and they were very nice to me.
"They sorted it out and stamped my visa, they pulled it out of their system. Especially the Marhaba service, this young lady called Rochelle who was very very helpful, who took me through all the departments and sorted it out. I really liked that. I just want to say thank you to those lovely officers and thank you to Dubai Airport for being so kind and being so helpful. Hopefully now I can chill, relax and enjoy my trip here! Cheers, guys!
