Stand-up trio, Kai, Gina, Phil to perform in Dubai

Book early to catch The Laughter Factory’s December tour, with the comedy promoter reducing its normal schedule to just two Dubai dates.

Stand-up trio, Kai, Gina, Phil to play in Dubai

Geordie funnyman Kai reached the finals of 2009’s ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ competition.

Since then, the happy-go-lucky comic has supported the likes of Rhod Gilbert and Daniel Sloss, and performed everywhere from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to the Melbourne Comedy Festival.

Gina is known internationally for her regular appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, after impressing on the American reality show Last Comic Standing.

The Londoner has also been seen on TV programmes from Live at the Apollo to Mock the Week to The Lenny Henry Show.

Phil is both an award-winning comedian and actor from Canada. In 206, he won the prestigious if.com Comedy Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe - a trophy previously won by the likes of Hugh Laurie, Lee Evans and Steve Coogan.

He has also portrayed Monty Python member Terry Gilliam in the BBC comedy film Holy Flying Circus, starred in a stage adaptation of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest with Christian Slater and appeared on TV shows such as The Weakest Link and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

Kai Humphries, Gina Yashere and Phil Nichol are the three stand-ups heading this way, to perform at the Movenpick JBR on Wednesday, December 10 and the Grand Millennium Tecom the following day.
