A one-of-its kind musical extravaganza, Unwired, with eight of the hottest new artists from India, is set to wow audiences at the World Trade Centre tomorrow.
Pure acoustics and pure entertainment was the grand vision behind bringing the budding genius of Benny Dayal, Harshdeep Kaur, Papon, Shefali Alvares, Aditi Singh Sharma, Siddharth Mahadevan, Shilpa Rao and Palak Muchhal to one stage in Dubai to help celebrate City 1016’s birthday.
These are the young crooners who gave us hits like Badtameez dil, Jugni, Khuda jaane, Kyon, Dhoom Machale, Meri Aashiqui and Zinda. The talent showcase includes Shankar Mahadevan’s award-winning son Siddharth Mahadevan who sang Zinda from Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Harshdeep Kaur of Jugni and Kabira fame, Papon, who sang Kyon from Barfi! and Benny Dayal, the UAE-bred singer behind the popular track Badmateez dil.
Unwired will feature a mix of their hit numbers and a tribute to legends like RD Burman, Kishore Kumar, Mohd Rafi, A R Rahman, Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle.
