The Farnsworth Invention, written by the famed Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network), is a tale of deceit and celebration as it traces the roots of one of modern history’s most significant inventions.
Directed by Jimish Thakkar, the play is set in 1929 - as two ambitious visionaries race against one another to invent a device called the ‘television’.
Who will unlock the key to the greatest innovation of the 20th century: the ruthless media mogul, or the self-taught Idaho farm boy?
The Farnsworth Invention will be staged on February 7, 8 and 9 at The Wellington School.
Tickets are priced at Dhs50 and proceeds go to charity. For tickets call 050 654 5302 or 055 959 6220, or log on to www.timeouttickets.com.
