SATURDAY NOVEMBER 30 will see the launch of Reggae Beachfest, the first all-day reggae and dancehall experience in Dubai. This unique event brings together a line-up of the premiere Reggae DJ's, promoters and sound systems in the UAE for the first time.

The event, promoting Jamaican culture, will be held at the XL Beach Club, The Habtoor Grand Beach Resort and Spa in Dubai Marina, Dubai from 2pm - 10pm. The line-up of talent “keeping the yard vibe alive” includes DJ Crown Prince “The Soul Rebel” from Antigua, an international DJ and Jamrock Dubai resident; the Deep Crates Cartel team, lovers of vinyl and dubstep; Escape events DJ Jason from Jamaica, a veteran musician, DJ and promoter; Adonai Sound System from Kingston, Jamaica; DJ Rai and DJ Justin from the annual 'Do You Remember' parties; Reggae Revival DJ's Selecta Okwonkow, Jezz de Don Dada and Ras Dru.

The MC for the event will be none other than Mo City (Reggae Rajas). The all-day will feature for the first time a '45 Shoot-Out' vinyl spin-off between Deep Crates Cartel and Adonai Sound System.

Tickets for the event are Dhs100 and are available from Platinum List (www.platinumlist.ae) Free entrance for the ladies before 6pm and there is 40 per cent discount for Face Card holders.
