Slava’s Snowshow to recreate winter wonderland in the capital

IF YOU’RE LIVING in the UAE, we can safely assume that you love the sunshine, but are you in need of a winter jolt?

The highly-reviewed stage spectacle Slava’s Snowshow, which is set to leave audiences snow-bound even in these desert environs, will premiere in Abu Dhabi in April.

Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) is preparing to host the live event, created and staged by Russian pantomime artist and clown Slava Polunin, from April 17-19.

Slava’s Snowshow is a fusion of traditional and contemporary theatrical clowning that weaves a beautifully crafted, vibrant visual fantasy. Among the many unique and striking experiences Slava’s Snowshow will offer audiences is the creation of a winter snowstorm right inside the hall.

The show has entertained audiences in more than 30 countries and 120 cities, and The London Times described the show as a theatre classic of the 20^th century and dubbed Slava Polunin as ‘the best clown in the world’.
