‘Amasi Beach’, to be held at Al Hamra Palace Beach Resort, will kick off tomorrow with veteran British spinner Norman Jay MBE on the decks, followed the following day by Tim Kay.
A longtime fixture at London’s Notting Hill Carnival, Norman also presents his own BBC Radio 2 show and was honoured by the Queen in 2002 for services to music.
The party series will continue every Friday until December 31, with other DJs such as Ashley Beedle and Chris Rayner lined up (see box).
