The three comedians from London’s famous Comedy Store venue coming over are Andrew Bird, Phil Nichol and Roger Monkhouse (pictured left to right respectively).

Boasting “an easy charisma other acts would die for” (according to The Evening Standard), Andrew lists comedy inspirations from anarchic ‘80s sitcom The Young Ones to Billy Connolly.

He has appeared on the BBC reality show The Sack Race and enjoyed a sell-out stint at the Edinburgh Festival with his Big Value show.

With a slew of awards behind him, Canadian comic Phil Nichol is also a musician, writer and actor (starring in a stage production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest with Christian Slater).

He is also a BBC Radio regular, a comedy festival veteran from Manchester to Melbourne and has appeared on TV shows including The Weakest Link, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and The Graham Norton Show.

“(He) attacks his material with all the restraint of a Tasmanian Devil in a foghorn factory,” said The Times of Phil.

And finally, Roger Monkhouse is a regular writer for panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats, whose TV appearances include The World Stands Up and Street Cred Sudoku.

He returns to the UAE to deliver a set filled with concise and witty observations, while The Manchester Evening News noted his enthusiasm is “akin to that of an excitable professor who’s just found the gene that would enable a python to grow a beard”.
