Eleven have been declared with the Dhruba Selvaratnam-trained Envisage seeking to follow up his course and distance win of three weeks ago.

Palm Court, representing the Ali Rashid Al Raihe/Royston Ffrench team who are enjoying a prolific season, will be a big danger if staying this trip.

Jackson, trained by Doug Watson, is weighted to finish in front of Envisage judged on their last run and Watson’s charge was hampered in running on that occasion.

Mubarak Bin Shafya’s Game Stalker and Erwan Charpy’s Sos Brillante are two others to consider.

The most valuable of the Purebred Arabian races is the 1,600m handicap in which Pat Smullen’s mount Sharudy should go close for trainer Fakhruddin Nizamuddin.

Rod Simpson’s Jazeerat Alsadyaat and Gill Duffield’s Royal Class are respected, while As Muheeb should run a big race.

Doug Watson trains Ratim who is strongly fancied to win the opening 1,600m maiden.
