The team have representation in all seven races for thoroughbreds on the $26.5 million card, which is the culmination of the 2010 Dubai International Racing Carnival.

The world’s richest race, the $10 million Dubai World Cup, has two Godolphin runners — Mastery, partnered by Frankie Dettori, and Allybar, the mount of Ahmed Ajtebi.

The 10-furlong contest will run on a Tapeta surface for the first time, following the opening of the fantastic new racecourse in Meydan this year.

There are due to be four Godolphin horses going for glory in both the Dubai Sheema Classic and the UAE Derby.

Cavalryman (Frankie Dettori), Campanologist (Ted Durcan), Anmar (Richard Hills) and Eastern Anthem (Ahmed Ajtebi) are the hopes for the $5m million Dubai Sheema Classic, a Group One event over 12 furlongs on turf.

The Group Two UAE Derby takes place over nine and a half furlongs on Tapeta. Mendip (Frankie Dettori), Frozen Power (Ahmed Ajtebi), Siyaadah (Aaron Gryder) and Enak (Ted Durcan) are chasing the $2 million prize money. The nine-furlong Group One event on turf, the $5 million Dubai Duty Free, is set to have three Godolphin challengers — Alexandros (Frankie Dettori), Calvados Blues (Ahmed Ajtebi) and Justenuffhumor (Ted Durcan).

There are now two sprints on the card — the Group One $2-million Dubai Golden Shaheen over six furlongs on Tapeta and the Group Three $1 million Al Quoz Sprint at the same distance on turf. Gayego (Frankie Dettori) is the Godolphin hope in the former, while Sirocco Breeze (Frankie Dettori), Asset (Ted Durcan) and Fravashi (Ahmed Ajtebi) are going for the latter event.

The remaining race is the Group Two $1 million Godolphin Mile on Tapeta, with Desert Party (Frankie Dettori), Skysurfers (Ted Durcan) and Calming Influence (Ahmed Ajtebi) set to line up.
