The 19th renewal of the US$27.25 million Dubai World Cup day on Saturday, March 29, 2014, is to be crowned by a full-length concert performed by global superstar Jennifer Lopez.
The world’s richest day of horse racing, held at Meydan Racecourse, is the culmination of the three-month-long Dubai World Cup Carnival.
“I traveled to Dubai on my Dance Again World Tour and had one of the most exciting shows and electrifying nights on stage,” said Lopez. “I am looking forward to returning to Dubai and joining the celebrations for the Dubai World Cup.”
Admission to the post-race concert is exclusive to 2014 Dubai World Cup day ticket holders.
Numerous hospitality ticket packages will be available from Sunday, February 23, 2014 for the Dubai World Cup, the biggest social and sporting event on the UAE calendar, sponsored by Emirates Airline. Ticket holders gain access to the nine races that make up Dubai World Cup day, as well as the spectacular Dubai World Cup Opening Ceremony and firework display and Lopez’s high-octane concert, which will take place following the $10m Dubai World Cup.
Public gates open at 12pm and hospitality gates open at 2pm. The first race starts at 4:30pm.
