Hats off to Meydan

Hats off to Meydan

As the jockeys and horses suited up to grab a slice of the most lucrative horse race in the world, at Meydan Racecourse over the weekend, it was hard to tell who was more dressed up — the jockeys or the fans.

The Dubai World Cup, held on Saturday, was a platform for the latest in fascinator fashion, with ladies from around the globe dressing up for the occasion. The day was also a family affair, with people of all ages enjoying the sunny day out.

Competition was fierce both on and off the field, with many of the nine races coming down to the wire, while the judges had a hard time selecting winners for the ‘Most Creative Hat,’ ‘Best Dressed Man,’ ‘Best Dressed Couple,’ ‘Most Elegant Lady’ and ‘Best Dressed Lady and Hat’.
