Ex-SNL stars Poehler-Ferrell to co-star in comedy
Ferrell will play a husband who joins with his neighbours to start an illegal casino in his basement after he and his wife blow their daughter’s college fund.
Amy Poehler is in negotiations to star opposite Will Ferrell in the New Line comedy The House. It marks the first time the two have worked together since they faced off as rival ice skaters in the comedy Blades of Glory. Andrew J. Cohen is making his directorial debut on The House from a script he co-wrote with Brendan O’Brien.

Poehler stars next in Pixar’s Inside Out and will appear later this year in the Universal comedy Sisters opposite Tina Fey.
She is also producing a handful of TV shows through her Paper Kite productions, which include Broad city, Welcome to Sweden and the upcoming Difficult People, which will be seen on Hulu. Reuters
