A former Dubai resident, the industry veteran wants to make a difference and continue the drive for growth with quality at the iconic venue
A hospital that doesn’t look like a hospital. That’s what aesthetics does to a building. Designed as per the American Institute of Architects - Hospital Architecture (AIA) guidelines and purpose built as per JCI standards, Prime Hospital has been winning awards for personalised care for 15 years for its country-wide network of medical centres (Prime Medical Centres), pharmacies and diagnostic centres.
Now there is a new 100-bed multi-specialty hospital on Airport Road, Al Garhoud. The location helps in cases of emergencies of when people are being rushed and flown to Dubai for treatment. The primary focus is acute adult/paediatric and neonatal care.
S.S.I. Quadrie, director, Marketing and Business Development, says, “Our expertise coupled with some of our core values of transparency, customer focus, cost effectiveness and speed of care played an integral part in the Prime HealthCare Group being conferred the Dubai Quality Appreciation (DQA) Award in 2012 for the second time, the first being in 2007.
“We were commended by the Dubai Government’s Department of Economic Development for excellence in the areas of high service quality, appreciable level of customer satisfaction, strategic branding, employee care, frequent free health checkups and health awareness programmes under our community outreach programme.”
In the new hospital, specialists are available round the clock — the only other hospital in Dubai to have this facility is the government’s Rashid Hospital. Besides, critical care is available for neonatal (premature babies) to adults of any age.
