According to George Jepson, CEO of the Hospital operated by the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company, Seha, this success reflects the development of the medical, therapeutical and surgical services in the hospital, and is evidence of the important outcome the multi-specialist medical team has reached. The 27-year-old Asian was suffering from severe pains in the stomach and continuous vomiting for several weeks.

The medical crew assessed her condition through a set of analyses and medical tests, which eventually showed a benign tumour weighing the pancreas and the liver.

After the surgery which took more than three hours, and performed by a team led by Dr Iyad Hassan, Head of General Surgery at the hospital, the patient returned to normal life within a short time.
