Speaking at a ceremony here on Wednesday, Gilani said ISI’s operations had full support of the government.

Prime Minister Gilani’s comments came in the wake of the publishing of leaked official documents showing that the US administration had placed the ISI on a list of terrorist outfits. The organisation is currently engaged in mending tense relations with its US counterpart CIA.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has also accused country’s premier spy agency of meddling in political affairs to foster alliances and (Imran Khan’s) sin-in against drone attacks.
