Yemeni minister lauds Khalifa’s donation
Yemeni Minister of Expatriates Affairs Major-General Mujahid Algahala has expressed the appreciation of the Yemeni leadership, government and people to the kind gesture of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the donation of Dh500 million to purchase food items and urgently distribute them to Yemeni people.
Algahala said that the philanthropic gesture of the UAE President reflects the historic links between the two peoples.
While receiving the delegation of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Humanitarian Foundation, he said that the initiative would further contribute to easing suffering of the Yemeni people. The Yemeni minister said the authorities would immediately facilitate procedures for the foundation to distribute the food items to the displaced Yemeni families.
