His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Tuesday inquired and was reassured about the health of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia.
The 84-year-old monarch was admitted to hospital in Riyadh on Monday with what state media said was inflammation of the gall bladder.
Saudi sources on Tuesday said he was fine and then a video released by the Saudi Press Agency showed King Salman holding a virtual meeting of the Saudi cabinet from his hospital.
During a telephone call, Sheikh Mohamed wished King Salman good health and wellness. He also wished the people of Saudi Arabia further progress and prosperity under his wise leadership.
King Salman expressed his thanks for the sincere feelings expressed by Sheikh Mohamed and wished the people of the UAE further progress and prosperity.
