UAE, Nauru sign MoU on entry-visa exemption

Abu Dhabi - UAE nationals may be able to stay in the island country for up to 90 days in each visit.
Ahmed Saeed Elham Al Dhaheri, assistant under-secretary for consular affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, said that the exemption came during the visit of Nauru's foreign minister to the country, to attend the annual International Participants Meeting at Expo 2020 Dubai.
Al Dhaheri added that the exemption will open new avenues for travel destinations for UAE nationals at one of the Pacific countries, which will positively affect the tourism, trade, investment and other fields, in order to achieve a diversified economic and investment opportunities for the two countries, enhance bilateral cooperation, and promote ties between the UAE and Nauru.
He noted that MOFAIC is striving to provide all facilities for its citizens to travel without the need for a pre-entry visa, emphasising the functioning of the ministry in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership to provide happiness to citizens.
