President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent cables of congratulations to President Pranab Mukherjee of India on the occasion of the anniversary of his country's Republic Day, and Peter Cosgrove, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, on the occasion of his country's National Day.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, dispatched similar cables to the Indian President and the Australian Governor-General.
