Under the directives of the President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE launches on Friday “Our hearts are with the Syrian people” campaign to help refugees survive the coldwave.
“Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has a kind heart, and always leads the way and extends his hand out to those in need,” said Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, on his twitter account on the occasion of the charitable initiative to be launched on Friday by the Red Crescent Authority (RCA).
Shaikh Hamdan added that His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has spared no effort to promote the UAE as a world capital of humanitarian work through noble stances and integrated humanitarian cities.
“We hope institutions, companies and individuals will contribute to the campaign’s success, as befits the UAE’s reputation as global giver,” he said.
“After the snowstorm we saw heartbreaking pictures of the harsh conditions that Syrian refugees, especially the children, are living under.”
