The ceremony was also attended by Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. Congratulating the members of the Class of Fall 2012 on their achievements, Shaikh Sultan said AUS graduates proved their abilities and skills after joining the job market.
He urged the graduates to pursue excellence in everything they do, adding that AUS had so far graduated 8,050 students.
“You are ambassadors of your university to the region and to the world. Wherever you go, you will always be our sons and daughters. I wish you success in developing your communities through what you have learnt in the university, which will remain to be your home and you are always welcome to visit,” he added. —
