Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed condemns terror attack in Tunisia

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi expressed the UAE’s fraternal stance with Tunisia against terrorism and all forms and manifestations of extremism.

Abu Dhabi — His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, telephoned Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi to express his strong condemnation and denouncement of the cowardly terrorist attack on Tunisia’s Bardo National Museum that claimed the lives of innocent citizens and foreign tourists.

During the call, Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed also extended his heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathies for the families of the victims and prayed to Allah Almighty for a speedy recovery for the wounded.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi expressed the UAE’s fraternal stance with Tunisia against terrorism and all forms and manifestations of extremism.

He reiterated the UAE’s unwavering support for Tunisia’s stability and counter-terrorism efforts.  He also expressed confidence that Tunisia, under the leadership of President Essebsi, and with the support of all peace-loving states and peoples, will overcome this serious plight threatening international peace and security.

He also stressed the need to double the international efforts and the solidarity of all the world’s states to combat and eradicate all forms of terrorism that is criminalised by all divine religions, and achieve peace, security and stability for the whole world.
