President, VP greet leaders
The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has sent congratulatory cables to Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Czech President Vaclav Klaus, Austrian President Heinz Fischer and Zambian President Michael Chilufya Sata on the occasion of their countries’ national day.
Shaikh Khalifa also sent a congratulatory cable to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow of Turkmenistan on the occasion of his country’s independence day.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also sent similar cables to these leaders on the occasion.
General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also sent a congratulatory cable to the Turkmen President.
Meanwhile, Shaikh Khalifa received a cable of thanks from President Hu Jintao of China in reply to the cable of greeting the UAE leader sent to him on his country’s national day. Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid also received a similar cable from the Chinese President.
