Polish President, leaders receive Shaikh Abdullah

During the meeting, Shaikh Abdullah conveyed the greetings of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to the Polish president stressing His Highness’ keenness on strengthening relations between the two countries, and wishes for further progress and development for the friendly people of Poland.

On his part, the Polish president requested Shaikh Abdullah to convey his greetings to Shaikh Khalifa, his best wishes for good health and happiness for him, and for the further development and prosperity for the people of UAE.

President Komorowski also noted his interest in bolstering the ties of friendship and cooperation with UAE.

The two sides also reviewed the bilateral relations between the UAE and Poland and ways of strengthening them, in addition to a number of issues of common interest.

Shaikh Abdullah also met with Cezary Grabarczyk, Vice-President of the Polish Parliament in Warsaw.

During the meeting, the leaders discussed issues of common concern and ways of strengthening parliamentary relations, and exchanged views on overall regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest.

The Vice President of the Polish Parliament pointed out that this visit reflects the mutual keenness of the leaderships of the two countries on exchanging visits and meetings for further development of bilateral relations in the service of the interests of both friendly countries and their peoples.

Shaikh Abdullah also met with Wlodzimierz Karpinski, Poland’s Minister of Treasury, and discussed with him the economic relations between the UAE and Poland and ways of enhancing them, in addition to the cooperation and coordination between their fiscal and monetary institutions.

Shaikh Abdullah noted the development of the relations between both countries and their peoples.

For his part, the Polish Minister of Treasury praised the progress made by the United Arab Emirates in various fields, and stressed his country’s keenness to develop its relations with the United Arab Emirates in all fields.
