Panel approves housing beneficiaries

Acting on instructions of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the follow-up of General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the Follow-Up Committee has approved the construction of villas for citizens in Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah.

During a meeting chaired by Ahmad Juma Al Za’abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Follow-Up Committee, the committee also ratified the immediate commencement of rebuilding 53 houses in Sharjah, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.

Additionally, the committee gave approval for maintenance to a further 694 houses in Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah which were built before 1990. The estimated cost of the total maintenance process is Dh300 million.

The committee also approved a list of housing beneficiaries in Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Umm Al Qaiwain and Fujairah to receive their homes.
