Mohammed promotes 3,295 police officers

Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has issued a decree promoting 3,295 police officers.

Brigadier Pilot Ahmed Mohammed Thani, Director of the General Department of Airport Security, and Brigadier Talal Balhoal, Director of the General Department of National Security, have been promoted to the rank of Major-General, while Colonel Dr Khaled Ali has been promoted to the rank of a Brigadier.

Lieutenant-General Dhahi Khafan Tamim, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police, praised Shaikh Mohammed for the decision.
