Mohammed bin Zayed meets British Defence Secretary

General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces held a meeting with Philip Hammond, the British Defence Secretary.

During the meeting, the parties discussed existing bilateral relations between the UAE and the United Kingdom, and ways of enhancing them for the benefit of the two friendly countries.

Present at the meeting was Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister.

They also discussed cooperation between the two countries pertaining to military and defence affairs as well as exchanging views on issues of mutual interest and the latest developments regionally and globally.

Also present at the meeting were Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, the Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court and Abdul Rahman al Mutaiwee, the United Arab Emirates’ Ambassador to the UK.
