Low-cost houses approved in Capital

The Follow Up Committee of the Initiatives of the UAE President has endorsed the setting up of 196 low-cost houses in different areas nationwide during its meeting held on Wednesday morning at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.

The move follows the directives of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and follow up by General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Chaired by Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs, the committee was briefed about a special memo on invitation of consulting firms to participate in the project of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services. It also reviewed a memo on internal road projects in Ajman, Umm Al Qaiwain and other projects.

Al Zaabi praised the support of Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, to the committee and its projects, which will be implemented as per the latest standards and on time.
