Labour crises management panel meets

Lt-General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police and Chairman of the UAE Higher Committee for Labour Crises Management, hailed the distinctive results achieved by the labour inspection teams nationwide.

He added that the teams inspected the labour accommodations and companies, 94 per cent of which had been found to be observing the required standards over the past year. Such efforts had strengthened the state’s plans to protect the rights of labour in accordance with the international standards. He also appreciated the panel’s strategic partnership with the Ministry of Labour, police commanders and municipalities in the emirates. —
