Addressing a press conference held at the Sharjah Ladies Club, Noura Al Noman, Head of Shaikha Jawaher’s Executive Office, said, “Through her Executive Office, we also turn our attention to fresh graduates and the need to mentor and guide them.

“As part of Shaikha Jawahar’s Executive Office’s vision and mission, we are launching Thati, a development programme which aims to give a group of selected graduates a toolkit to build their leadership and management skills.”

The graduates will be selected by their educational institutions and will go through a process of interviews and tests to measure their potential for learning and development. Three candidates (two females and one male) will be chosen and will start the programme in September.

The mentorship programme will include working at Shaikha Jawahar’s Executive Office, as well as at a select list of private and semi-government entities where they will be required to acquire the competencies necessary to qualify them to work anywhere in Shaikha Jawahar’s organisations.

Also planned for the graduates are training courses for up to 30 days per year. After two years of mentorship at the Executive Office, the graduates would be ready to move into a management position, subject to availability.
