Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his joy on first Emirati's astronaut, Hazzaa AlMansoori's successful start to his space mission, and congratulated UAE's leaders on the achievement.

Modi took to Twitter on Wednesday night to congratulate AlMansoori on the 'fabulous journey into outer space' - lauding the vision of UAE's leaders.

The PM added that India takes inspiration from 'close friend' UAE's feat as the former plans to send an Indian into space by 2022.
