The campaign is aspired to rally national support for UAE efforts to host World Expo 2020 bid. Participants should present their ideas about UAE’s qualifications to host this international event and why they believe the UAE should host the 2020 World Expo in Dubai.

Participants can tell their stories in words, through a brief essay or a poem, in English or in Arabic, share a painting they have drawn or a photograph they have taken or send a brief film that they have shot to tell the World Expo story and why you be-lieve this great event should come here in 2020.

Details about the ‘Be part of it’ competition, including all relevant terms and conditions, are available at www.expo2020dubai.ae and on the Facebook page (www.face-book.com/DubaiExpo2020).

Entries can be submitted up until September 30, 2012, on the UAE Expo 2020 website or at the special “Be part of it” kiosk in leading malls across the different emirates.

The five individuals will be selected by Shaikh Mohammed based on the quality of their submission and the expression of pride in the UAE, and its achievements, that highlight why it is an ideal place to host the World Expo 2020. Shortlisted entries will be uploaded to the UAE Expo 2020 website and open for public voting on an ongoing basis.

Following the conclusion of the initial shortlisting process, members of the public will again have the opportunity to cast a vote for their preferred submission prior to the final selection.

Each winner will be named an ‘Expo Ambassador’ and receive special recognition and very special opportunities to be part of the bid, including a trip to Paris to represent the UAE as a guest of the Expo 2020 team.
