Dh1.97 million donation given to DHA’s assistance fund

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD) has donated Dh1.966 million to the assistance fund at the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) to help needy and breast cancer patients.

Salim bin Lahej, Head of the Mosaadah (assistance) programme at the DHA, said the donation comes within the community partnership agreement signed by the authority with the department to promote the humanitarian role of the fund to serve needy patients in the hospitals of the authority.

Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Director of charity organisations at IACAD in Dubai said that this comes within the framework of cooperation and humanitarian support provided by the department to emphasise the values of the UAE. He also reviewed the efforts made by the department to support humanitarian conditions and provide necessary assistance to them. Bin Lahej commended the efforts made by the fund to deliver assistance to needy patients.
