$20 million aid given away to Syrian refugees

In implementation of the directives of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the follow-up of Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Khalifa Foundation, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has continued to provide relief aid to 135,000 Syrian refugees in Lebanon, worth $20 million.

Over the past few days, the delegation of Khalifa Foundation distributed thousands of coupons and vouchers to displaced families. This relief aid is not only confined to the Syrian families, but also extended to cover thousands of Lebanese and Palestinian families displaced in Syria.

The participation of Khalifa Foundation comes in line with the strategy of the Foundation to respond to humanitarian crises and emergencies. The beneficiaries expressed their thanks and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation, which eased the poverty caused by the displacement from Syria.
