Zafran said the event is being organised in two categories — the Khaleej Times trophy which will see Axiom, United Emirates, United Thalessary, Dubai Republican and True Pack Hockey Club compete while the other for the Sky Net trophy, will see AFHC, Dubai Hockey Club, Dubal Hockey Club, Beatrice & Loose Cannon taking part.
According to the Rameez Rufi, Chairman, AFHC, there will be special awards beside the winners and runners-up trophies, for the Best Goalkeeper, Best Player of the Tournament, Top Goalscorer and the Best Disciplined Team.
The duration of the match will be 20 minutes one way while the final will be played over 30 minutes split into two halves.
Martin Hunt, Abid Naqi, Tauqeer Hussain, Safdar Cheema, Arshad Nazir, Shahnawaz and Gordon De Silva are the event officials for the technical and supervisory aspects.
