Massin Golf Society move into lead
DUBAI - The second round fixtures in the SAIF Zone Golf Society Leagues Worldwide Golf and Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club divisions, proved an extremely even affair with four of the six fixtures sharing the points evenly and six of the 12 matches running to the 18th hole.
Only the Dubai Divots and Dubal achieved two wins from their two matches to accumulate a maximum six-point return against the Lebanese Golf Society and The Lions Golf Society respectively.
The days results mean the Massin Golf Society lead the Worldwide Golf League by two points from the two Filipino Golf Societies and Dubal.
In the SGSC pool EPC Hole Diggers, Sharjah Golfing Buddies and WedgeHogz all sit on top with nine points. Dubai Divots are fourth on six points but this league is likely to open up over the next couple of fixtures as the leaders play each other.
The leading 2 teams from each league progress to the knock-out stages, which commence in February.
