The Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge is managed by Troon Golf with Avis Rent a Car and ABB as the main sponsors of the event.
Co-sponsors of the Challenge are Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas, ECCO and Crystal Gallery along with the media sponsors being Khaleej Times in addition to Golf Digest.
One hundred and twenty players fought for a rewarding trip to Dubai at the Dirab Golf Club leg.
Winners with a net score of 50 were Khalid Jan and Mi Jung Yoo.
In second place with a net score of 53 were Lance Jones and Kapila N. and third with a net of 54 were John Davis and Chris Ledwidge.
The winning teams of all challenges will now compete in the Grand Finale on Thursday, April 26 at the Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai and will have the chance to win a trip to the British Open Championship 2012. During the awards ceremony, DGCC Golf Manager Bouchaib El Jadiani and Dirab Golf Committee Chairman thanked Ehab S. Guindi, general manager of Saudi Xerox, and Klaas Book of Troon Golf, for supporting the event.
Also present during the ceremony were Jean Marc Delpon De Voux, president of Olayan Group.
During the course of the tournament there were a number of other winners such as Ms. Kim who won the longest drive and Jim Kennedy who was the proud winner of the nearest pin who participated, in ‘The Longest Drive and the Nearest Pin’, sponsored by ECCO .
