Dubai - Retailers have reported a steady stream of customers looking to purchase home appliances

A home is truly your own when you begin to put some love and care into it. Or, in the case of Gitex shoppers, the latest home appliances.
Retailers at the 2017 Gitex Shopper exhibition have reported a steady stream of customers looking to purchase home appliances ranging from fridges and ovens, to coffee machines.
"We are looking for a new stove since the one we have right now is very old," said Parveen Rana, a shopper at the exhibition. "My husband was told by his friend at work that you can purchase things at Gitex in easy monthly bank installments, so that is what we are going to do."
Many shoppers, like Rana, were taking the opportunity to upgrade their home appliances with the help of easy payment plans, a salesperson at Jacky's noted. Home appliances such as fridges, stoves, and vacuum cleaners were a popular selection among those looking to upgrade their appliances. Many customers said that they had waited especially for the exhibition before making any major purchases, due to the special discounts and bundle offers.
Yusuf Sharzadah, another shopper at the Jumbo stand, said that he was looking for a small vacuum cleaner and perhaps a toaster. "I live in a small apartment with my brother. There are a few good deals here so I will probably end up getting what I came for."
