Dubai: Canon Middle East, a leader in imaging and business solutions, has announced it will be participating at the upcoming GITEX Technology Week. The company will utilise the platform to showcase its industry leading imageFORMULA scanning and document management solutions for a variety of vertical industries.
Stakeholders from vertical sectors including banking, education, government, healthcare and SMEs will be able to experience first-hand how Canon’s latest imageFORMULA Document and Information Management solutions (DIMS) are equipped to cater to their evolving needs.
'In most firms in the region, paper documents are still the dominant vehicle for capturing and communicating information. Manual and inefficient processes may make it more difficult and costly to access these files in a timely manner. The seamless and immediate sharing of information in central and field locations is becoming extremely important. Canon's easy-to-use imageFORMULA scanning solutions simplifies the distribution of business information across a network to specified destinations while simultaneously improving data security, maintaining information quality and lowering workplace costs,' said Hendrik Verbrugghe, Marketing Director, Canon Middle East.
'Gitex as a show has evolved and provides Canon the right platform to cater to stakeholders from all major vertical industries. At the show we look forward to further increasing our leadership in the DIMS business and also educate our channel partners on how our solutions will help them grow their business across the region,' added Verbrugghe.
Solutions to be showcased will include backlog scanning and document distribution for government entities, medical archiving for healthcare companies, cheque clearing solutions and document management for banks, document capture and arching for educational institutions and business workflows for SME and corporates.
In addition to this, customised product briefings for each vertical industry and customer case studies will be presented to visitors at the Canon stand A2-6 at Hall 2.
