Inter consider late buys after Super Cup defeat
Inter Milan are pondering a late dash into the transfer market after Friday’s 2-0 European Super Cup defeat by Atletico Madrid, whose striker Diego Forlan has opened the door to a possible switch.
The European champions made half-hearted and unsuccessful bids for Liverpool’s Javier Mascherano and Dirk Kuyt but generally looked happy with the squad which won the treble last season despite rivals at home and abroad investing.
