Al Shaab to Face Indian Team

DUBAI - Al Shaab Club of Sharjah will host the Indian National Football team at the Al Shaab stadium on February 20, a press release said. The match is scheduled to start at 6.15pm.

The Indian team are currently in Dubai on a twenty day training programme and are preparing for the Asia Cup to be held in January in Doha.

Entry to the stadium will be free of charge.

The team who arrived on February 5 train daily at the Al Nasr Club in Dubai having earlier trained at the Sevens. They leave for India on February 26.

Raul Fernandes, Managing Director of Gulf International Promotions, who are looking after the India team in Dubai, stated that the team were in high spirits and were eagerly looking forward to the match on Saturday. The boys have been training very hard for the last two weeks and are looking forward to the game against Al Shaab Club, stated Fernandes.
