A fire that gutted 11 cars outside a shopping mall in Dubai was a case of arson, police sources have told Khaleej Times.
The police have arrested an Asian suspect, who allegedly set one of the cars on fire after he had a heated argument with its driver.

The incident took place on Saturday evening in a parking lot outside the Dubai Outlet Mall.
The suspect was a driver who transported the staff members of the shopping mall. "After he had the argument with his compatriot, he set the latter's car on fire as revenge. The flames spread to 10 other vehicles parked in the lot," a police source said.
As the police were investigating the fire, they found that the car from which the fire started was parked in a safe place. "There were no inflammable materials in or around the car."
Further investigations led the police to the suspect, who was arrested "as he was getting ready to flee the country". He sustained some burns in his hand when he started the fire.
