A European football star has been gifted a special piece of the Kaaba's Kiswah - a rare and priceless gift for any Muslim.
Mesut Özil, one of the most popular Muslim football stars in the world, recently posted a picture on - social media - of a framed piece of Kiswah at his home in London.
Starting with a verse of the Quran - praising Allah - he acknowledged the gift with the caption:

'Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum - Honoured and privileged to have this special piece of the Kiswah that covers the Kaaba in Mecca at my home in London. ?? Incredibly blessed to have received this priceless gift. ?
Alhamdulillah || ???????????? ?????'
 The German Muslim star is known for offering a dua (supplication) or prayer during football matches - especially after scoring a goal or a victory.
In 2016, Özil made headlines after pictures of him performing Umrah in Saudi Arabia's Makkah went viral.
